Drake pays homage to the late Gil Scott-Heron in his latest album, “Take Care”. The track with the namesake of the album “Take Care” samples Gil Scott-Heron’s “I’ll Take Care Of U” from the his album, “We’re New Here”.
If you didn’t know, Gilbert “Gil” Scott-Heron (April 1, 1949 – May 27, 2011) was an American soul and jazz poet,musician, and author known primarily for his work as a spoken word performer in the 1970s and ’80s.
