The first time I heard “Wiseman” leaked I was pretty excited for Frank Ocean. Amassing six Grammy nominations for next month’s show, I thought that dropping a soundtrack single might be the hoist he needs toward the next level of stardom. The track is pretty soulful like much of his debut album, channel ORANGE. Quentin Tarantino said, however, he couldn’t find a place for the track within the film’s scenes. Some of the big names that did make the cut included Anthony Hamilton, Rick Ross, and John Legend.
