DJ For a Cure, a blood cancer awareness and education organization, continues to creatively spark the important dialogue of cancer by hosting an old school night of fun and games on June 26th at No.8. Attendees will enjoy playing classics such as Connect Four, Twister, Jenga, and Monopoly, all while vibing to the sounds of NYC’s most prominent and influential DJs.

PUMA, a leading sports brand, and Krink, renowned art company known for its high quality ink and markers, signed on as sponsors of the event to help bring awareness to an untapped demographic- purveyors of pop culture and art. The event aims to shed light on the severity of cancer all while highlighting the pop culture and embracing visual art.

DJ For A Cure Game Night will be hosted by DJ and television personality DJ Kiss and Bravo TV’s reality star, Chef Roble and will feature a live auctioning of artwork from Curator, DJ, Visual Artist and cancer survivor, Quiana Parks. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

DJ For A Cure events are attended by hundreds of professional DJs, trendsetters, artists and media personalities from New Jersey and New York. Many guests are local blood cancer patients and survivors who proudly serve as the evening’s honorees. The events received coverage from various media outlets such as The Huffington Post, VIBE Magazine, Guest of a Guest, New York Social Diary and more.

Event Details

What: DJ For a Cure Game Night. Attendees will have a chance to play Hasbro classics such as Connect Four, Operation, Twister, Jenga, Scattergories, Monopoly and more. It will also consist of a silent art auction for charity and a mix show assisted by a number of New York’s most professional mix masters.
