Luxe Trend: Quilted Jackets

The snow has already graced the streets of many cities around the country and the winter clothing season has officially begun.  One of the key trends in men’s fashion this Autumn and Winter season is the Quilted Jacket.  The quilted jacket of today has taken inspiration from the aristocratic hunters of the English countryside and combined it with a more athletic fit that has become a staple of men’s clothing.  Working off the classic English retailer Barbour huntsmen quilted jacket, many luxe retail versions have found their way into men’s Fall and Winter fashions.  Here is a line-up of designers who have latched onto this trend with a dash of American prep mixed into their masculine quilted version.  Here’s a LuxuriousPROTOTYPE Editor’s sampling of quilted outerwear that can be great additions to your winter wardrobe.
