Exclusive: BODHI F/W 2011 | Men’s & Tech Collection

On April 7th I was invited to check out the new BODHI Fall 2011 Men’s Collection. The above photo is what I initially saw on the invite. I was sold! Instantly! But that was just the beginning. When I actually got to the showroom I was in bag heaven (it was that serious!). BODHI is a well known brand that started off with women’s bags and luggages and soon expanded to men’s bags and luggages.

The BODHI Fall 2011 Men’s Collection was inspired by classic vintage men’s bags and interpreted with a modern twist.  A month before starting the new collection, BODHI Creative and Design Directof, Joseph Janus, was shopping in Paris and stumbled upon an old vintage shop window that showcased a stunning, worn-in briefcase with a top handle, amazing strapped detailing and hand sewn stitching. This was his inspiration for the new collection. From messengers, briefcases, weekender bags and cross bodies, each style boasts attention, detail and handling of a vintage bag now in modern and novel materials like water stained leathers, plaid flannels and washable, coated linen.
