NYFW Review & Photos: Perry Ellis by Duckie Brown

The Perry Ellis and Duckie Brown collaboration gets better every year. This year, the Duckie Brown duo used a couple interesting prints, such as different variations of camouflage. I remember growing up in Louisiana and seeing this print almost everyday. To us it was cool, but I can probably bet that New Yorkers didn’t think the same. It’s great to see these non-mainstream camo prints featured on the runway in such creative ways.

In addition to the camo print, Duckie Brown used a large paisley print in both the tops and bottoms. One good thing about this collection is the mixture of influences. Duckie Brown created these oversized, hidden button coats that are very reminiscent of Asian design. We look forward to seeing the next seasons’ collection.
