NYFW Review & Photos: Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2013

Immediately upon seeing Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2013 men’s presentation I thought “this looks like it could be a a scene taken out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn”, well a slightly more fashionable version. You know, the hipster scene. The looks were very trendy, but not the annoying, over-the-top trendy. All the pieces seemed practical and appropriate for the season.

The collection featured interesting patterns and textures, such as the medallion print (see above) and composite fleece. Keeping true to Fall/Winter fashion, Timo Weiland used dark and muted colors. However, the team decided to incorporate pops of red in some of the pieces, which served as a good contrast to the dark colors.

Favorite pieces: Medallion print “David” bomber with shearling collar, grey dot jersey “Dushane” sweatpant, and the navy blue sweater with the dog.
