Gentlemen, ’tis the season for LAYERING. Although, the weather may not get as cold as the northeast region, Southern Gentlemen fear not. With these simple tips you will be able to layer like a pro. Layering is almost like an art with a purpose. The whole idea about layering is the fact that you can peel the layers off if the temperature changes throughout the day. Imagine wearing a extremely thick cable knit sweater because of the frigid weather outside, only to get into a very hot office…at this point you can’t take your sweater off because that’s your only layer. If we were to change the scenario and make it a button down, a slightly thicker v-neck sweater and a thicker jacket, then you would have the option of peeling off the jacket and sweater, if need be. The rule here is to start with thinner layers and work your way to thick layers. Please see some great layering combinations below:
