Canyon Suites is a Forbes Five-Star/AAA Five Diamond exclusive 60-room boutique hotel at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, AZ.
Check-In: After waiting for my suite to become available, the check-in was seamless. The only reason the room wasn’t available was because I arrived around 10:30am, before check-in time. However, when it was ready, I was pleased to find my bags already in my suite.
I didn’t have to sign any paperwork, everything was handled properly.
Luxe Scale: 9.5/10
Hotel Room: The room, sorry the suite was absolutely amazing. The color scheme was a sage green and cream. This suite was definitely a true suite. I had two bathrooms, living room, office, dining room and bedroom. There was so much spacce in the suite that a family of four could stay there comfortably. The decorations all the way to the bath products were exquisitely done. In my office space there was a phone, Bose radio player and fax/copier/printer, perfect for a business man. There were three flat screen tv’s in the suite, one in the living room, one in the bedroom and in the bathroom. The dining room had a beautiful round table with four sage color fabric and cherry wood chairs. My favorites were the circlular chandelier and the cherry wood buffet. The bathroom, ahhhh! The bathroom featured a glass shower, jacuzzi tub, his and her sinks, a separate toilet room and a flat screen tv. Outside of my wall of sliding glass doors was the pool and jacuzzi for easy access. The suite was pretty serious!

Customer Service: Customer service was top notch! While being escorted to my room, the attendant, Julian, asked did I feel comfortable in the room to make sure the temperature was perfect. He also asked if I wanted tea or coffee in the morning, provided me with a map of the grounds and asked if I needed a wake up time. He was very helpful and pleasant. In addition to the attendant, the wait staff was equally as nice and helpful. I never had to ask for water or anything. They thought ahead about everything, making sure that I was completely content.

Canyon Suites would be perfect for a couple that is looking to get away from their kids, work or family for a little while. With all of the amenities and sightseeing, I recommended staying longer than two nights to get the full experience.
