Back in 2012, LuxuriousPROTOTYPE editors selected a vintage Otto blue tuxedo, worn by Matt LeBlanc, for that year’s Golden Globe Awards as a must have.  A year later, blue is still one of our favorites when it comes to up-ending a traditional formal look.

Last night’s big gala for the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art featured many male fashion icons sporting the azur look.  At the Met gala, Eddie Redmayne, Nick Hoult, and Tom Brady walked the red carpet in variations of the color.  Who do you think wore it best?  Is blue your new favorite color for a formal affair?
