On Thursday, March 3, 2016, The American Museum of Natural History hosted their 2016 Winter Dance. As New York City’s longest-running junior benefit, the Winter Dance brings together influential young philanthropists to celebrate and to raise essential funds for the Museum’s scientific and educational programs. This year, the theme of the evening was Winter Dance Underwater with an intimate dinner, followed by dancing beneath the blue whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life.

During the dance portion of the evening, guests nibbled on an assortment of pastries and snack including pretzels, popcorn, macaroons, Insomnia cookies and more. In addition to the snacks, the drinks were flowing provided by the open bar.

After about an hour or so in, the party really started to liven up. At this point, the guests had some adult beverages to loosen them up a bit to hit the dance floor in full effect! The DJ, Harley Viera-Newton, rocked the house, while magician Ryan Oakes wowed the crowd with mind blowing tricks.
