UGG Australia recently announced the launch of its new UGG for Men Spring 2013 line, supported by an integrated campaign entitled “Meet the Spring Line.”
UGG Australia chose three key men’s shoes that will take center stage this Spring season. The first is the Kaldwell which boasts a burnished nubuck upper and seersucker-inspired, cotton-striped lining. Nautical in nature yet abounding with technical advancements, the Reefton (launching March 22nd) boasts a burnished nubuck upper and seersucker-inspired, cotton-striped lining. Finally, blending sneaker comfort with boat-shoe ease, the Wilton (launching April 11th) sports washed canvas with jute wrapping, nubuck accents, and UGG® Australia’s Moroccan-inspired striped design. All the shoes provide the pinnacle of lightweight traction and a custom-created Vibram® outsole lends signature UGG® luxury.
The “Meet the Spring Line” campaign assigned a storyline that is told through three quick-edit, montage style films that capture the life of a man wearing these styles. Pieced together with shot footage of the shoes interlaced with stock footage and still photos, these punchy, graphic films take the viewers on exciting journeys to the streets of Los Angeles or the backroads of the Dominican Republic. The creative was directed by Brian Morrow of Sharkpig, a creative agency based in Los Angeles, and employs a unique first person perspective with Brian directing, filming and acting in each of the spots. The “Meet the Spring Line” integrated campaign will run between March 4th and April 30th.
