Dinner on Ludlow

On October 17, Dinner on Ludlow opens at The DL with famed Executive Chef, John Keller creating an American Bistro menu.

Dinner on Ludlow is located at the corner of Delancey and Ludlow Streets – on the first floor of The DL, the spacious rooftop lounge whose moniker derives from this intersection.

One of the first things you’ll notice on entering Dinner on Ludlow is the ornate design of the room, with high ceilings, yet still remaining warm and comfortable. Bordered by floor to ceiling glass windows, the open-plan space features a long bar, plenty of intimate tables and banquettes amid a gothic elegant décor of crystal chandeliers, dark wood and ornate metal filigree that creates a relaxed cozy space, enhancing the dining experience.

Dinner on Ludlow -

Executive Chef John Keller brings over fifteen years of culinary experience to Dinner on Ludlow, creating a menu which boats fresh ingredients from local purveyors while showcasing a varied selection of modern American comfort foods that manages to be both wildly innovative and pleasingly familiar. His culinary education and passion for challenging the ways people view and taste food has landed him in the pages of The New York Times, New York Magazine and a contestant on the Food Network’s wildly successful reality based cooking series, Chopped.

Menu highlights include The Roast: Chef’s daily preparation of different braises, roasts, or stews, Bone in Dry Aged Rib Eye for Two, Steak Frites with Parmesan truffle fries.  Desserts such as Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart and Lemon Semifreddo will be curated by Mame Sowe and made fresh daily.

Dinner on Ludlow will also be introducing ‘Late Night Bites’ served for the neighborhood patrons looking for quality food after hours.  This will come in handy after those nights of throwing back drinks after drinks. SOBER UP TIME!

“Our goal is to offer the Lower East Side a dining experience using the freshest ingredients without breaking the bank,” partner, Paul Seres said.  “We are adapting Chef John Keller’s philosophy of ‘simple and timeless recipes that showcase great ingredients’ to give our customers a unique and unforgettable experience, whether is it for an after work bite or a private dining affair.”
