Secret Summer is an all inclusive, farm-to-bar cocktail festival that will showcase inventive mixology and farm-to-table eats while advocating progressive ideas about locality, sustainability and tomorrow’s tech integrations. Hosted at the historic Foundry in New York, the Midsummer Night’s Dream themed event will feature an immersive 12room and lush garden courtyard experience.
As guests approach the unassuming location, they will be looking for a mysterious man wearing a peculiar hat. He will guide attendees through a wrought iron gate and under a shaded stone arch leading into the history space for this truly unique summer experience. Within, picture perfect farm-to-bar cocktails will be offered by Andrew Maturana’s boutique events team ‘Rapt Affairs.’ Andrew and his team of mixologists will be on hand to flaunt hyperseasonal flavors amidst the revelry.
‘Rapt’ Chef John Mooney will grill fresh from the butcher proteins on the open air “Grass Fed Grill,” while locally sourced produce from a private hydroponic rooftop garden in Manhattan’s West Village will be served throughout the day. Food trucks from Korilla BBQ, Morris Food Truck and Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream will also be on hand to dish up their seasonal offerings throughout the day.
