Since 1996 members of the YCC have enjoyed insider access to leading contemporary artists through curator led studio visits, tours, and events that bring together young professionals with a passion for the arts. The 2018 Young Collectors Party was supported in part by The Kooples.

The evening began with a seated dinner in The Wright for YCC and event Co-chairs, host committee members, and artists whose work is represented in the Guggenheim collection through acquisitions of the YCC Art Fund. After dinner, guests celebrate in the museum’s iconic rotunda with drinks, dessert, and dancing. Funds raised from the evening benefit the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the YCC Art Fund, which has supported the acquisition of more than 140 works by emerging and established contemporary artists over the last 20 years.

Naama Tsabar, whose 2015 sculpture Work on Felt (Variation 4) was acquired by the Guggenheim in 2016, curated a mesmerizing evening of feminist musical interventions in the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright–designed rotunda. Performances include Buke and Gase, Fielded, PRIMA, and a DJ set by BEARCAT. The 2018 Young Collectors Party performances were supported by Adam & Alexa Wolman.
