Dockers Spring Summer 2012 Preview On Thursday, October 27, 2011 I had the pleasure of viewing the Dockers Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. I was VERY impressed with the men’s collection.

The highlight of the night was the Alpha Khaki—introduced for Fall 2011 as the perfect blue-jean/chino hybrid— which will be soon available for Spring in a wide range of NEW colors and also patterns including camo and some smart plaids.

Also new for the Spring/Summer 2012 is the men’s Ultimate Chino (shown in the photo above in a slate blue shade paired with a short sleeve button-down shirt), a heavy-weight khaki silhouette that’s durable, yet soft, offered in a true straight leg.  The SF Khaki is another new men’s style (shown in the photo below in grey, with a blue, club-collared shirt with white contrasting collar), that combines the aesthetic of a polished work pant with the comfort and ease of a weekend khaki.

The Spring/Summer 2012 Collection reminds me of the whole “Rugged Gentleman” look that I have been ranting and raving over. Think navy, safari or all around outdoor gentleman. Dockers has always been a trusted brand for me. When you think about quality jeans, you think of Levi, which is the umbrella brand over Dockers. So, when you think of quality khakis, you should think of Dockers. It just makes sense.

  1. I just want to give a shout out to the person whom came up with the idea of taking a palate , adding a thick piece of glass and some lights, while putting it all together to come up with a one of a kind model stand. I’m one who pay attention to the smaller things in pictures that mean the most. 😉
