Fashion First: Canada Goose Fall/Winter 2013 Outerwear Line Up

2

This past week, at the Loft in the Bryant Park Hotel, LuxuriousPROTOTYPE Editors were given a sneak peek of the Fall/Winter 2013 line up by Canada Goose, the venerable Canadian outerwear designer. For over 55 years, Canada Goose has been designing and sewing the best extreme weather outerwear in the world; proudly made in Canada by local craftspeople with decades of experience. The company’s outerwear can be seen from extreme research outposts in the South Pole and the Canadian High Arctic, to the streets of New York City, Stockholm, Milan, Toronto and Tokyo.  Fans of this outerwear select them for the products’ reputations of authenticity, quality, and functionality, as well as iconic style.  Despite their decidedly northern exposure, the company didn’t forget to add current street fashion sense to their parkas and jackets.

Canada Goose’s upscale line is called Branta.  Branta is inspired by the rare and elusive black marked goose.  The company infused functional style with intelligent design, slim fit and premium quality to produce this luxury label.

Untitled 3Perhaps not easily identifiable as a luxury brand, these well-crafted and thoughtful designs can only be found at exclusive stores such as Barney’s and Paragon Sports.  Although the hot and humid temperatures are upon us now, staying warm when winter arrives in 7 months is something worth contemplating. LuxuriousPROTOTYPE suggests you consider one of these for your go-to coats when the temperatures go from 80 above to 20 below!

What do you think?
